Which Type Of Person Are You?

By Drew Jones

After you have read through the seven types of people when it comes to the Internet you must ask yourself: Which one am I and where do I want to be?

The Mooch Bum

These people are clueless and are at the bottom level. They are ignorant and just waste their time. They have no knowledge of the money-making potential of the Internet. These people have a dead end job that they hate. But they don't want to invest in themselves and in educating themselves. This is the person who just uses the Internet to waste time. Watching videos, chatting with friends, reading with email, watching porn and so on. Basically, its just a pastime and a means of pleasure. They believe there is no way you can make money online because they think everything is a scam. They think that people who are making money are just lucky.

Advice to these people: Just shut up and get a life!

I would be extremely and utterly disappointed if you were in this category! Seriously! If you are, you better keep of my way until you have made amends!

The Wanna-Be
These people have heard of the Internet, use it and want to make money. They go chasing after every new fad and every new marketing ploy. These people have ambition (which isn't really enough). These people want to make money, but they just don't have a clue how to. They get sucked into every scam and crappy idea. These people are easily excited and get involved in MLMs and jump from one thing to another, thinking that there is some magic solution which they can plugin and just make money, without any effort. These people do want to succeed, but they don't put the effort in. Their failure is that they think they can make lots of money if they can find the magic solution. These people just lack the knowledge of how to make money. They continue in this manner chasing a dream.

Advice to these people: If your life stinks, its your fault!

But if you take responsibility and take action, you can be successful.

I would be very disappointed if you were in this category! If you are, then please come down to earth and get hold of yourself. You've got the desire, but now you need the patience to learn. You've been acting without knowledge, which means your actions are misguided. Know, and then act.

The Pretend-To-Be
These people are living a lie. They are just "waiting for the right moment". They don't take any action because they feel that they have do things perfectly. They just don't want to make any mistakes. They're always talking about starting an Internet business, but in reality they don't have the guts to do it. These people may have a successful offline business, like for example a doctor or a lawyer. These people spend a lot of money going to seminars, buying courses and products. They are living a lie because they know a lot and can talk the talk, but they are scared to walk the walk. They have lots of excuses - "its not the right time now", "I need to learn a bit more". When you speak to them, you might be dazzled about what they know. But its all just knowledge - no action. They're scared of taking that leap and jumping in.

Advice to these people: You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going!

These people are really afraid, lack courage and don't want to take that jump. They just fool themselves by thinking that they are making progress by buying all the latest products and ebooks.

I would be disappointed if you were in this category! Shame on you! You can't live a double life my friend, you can't kid yourself. I want you to see every failure as a success, because you just found another way that doesn't work - and that my friend is progress! The progress of every individual, from birth to adulthood, the progress of every community and nation from its inception to its height, is based upon the abundance of failures that allowed them to see the most appropriate way. So what are you scared of? Failure is a fundamental part of life! Greet failure with open arms. Failure is your friend. Failure is your best teacher!

The Newbie
These people are actually on the track. These people have some knowledge and they have done their homework. They simply lack the technical know-how to get to where they want to be. They've bought ebooks and might have a few courses or seminars under their belt. They tend to follow "internet gurus", but the more they study, the more they get confused. These people don't realise that making money online is not about your product or service. Its all about the marketing. These people have a website, and may have their own product, or have resale rights products. But they don't know the specific details of marketing - tracking, conversion, copywriting secrets and technical issues. They are control freaks and want to do everything themselves. They think that if you want to do something right, you've got to do it yourself. In essence, they've just given themselves their own day job, and don't know how to take their business to the next level. These people are either losing money, or making a little amount of money. They're not really taking anything home. They are so bogged down in what they are doing that they lack vision. However, the good thing is that they are in the right direction.

Advice to these people: If you could do it on your own, you would already be there!

Get yourself some real marketing education. Take a course, study, learn the skills!

If you are in this category, then I like you! You've got the zeal and you have potential. My advice to you is just keep at it. Patiently persevere and learn my friend. I know its hard at first, but in order to move up a level you have got to get specific knowledge that raises you to a proper marketer's level.

The Marketer
These people have a website, or websites that make them money. But all they have is a job and not a business. These people have an understanding of marketing, SEO, copywriting, tracking, conversion and so on. These people have been around and know what they are doing. They might be a leader in their particular niche and maybe making five figures per month. However, they think that they are doing really well, and have already accomplished the best that they can do. In reality, they're just holding themselves back and don't realise that the sky really is the limit. What they do is to compare themselves the previous four levels, and think they are the leaders of the pack. They just have low expectations of themselves and don't compare themselves to the levels that are higher than them. They don't want to stretch themselves outside of their comfort levels. They think they know all that there is to know. These people can be described as "playing not to lose, instead of playing to win". These people simply need someone else to mentor them and take them to the next level.

Advice to these people: You don't know what you don't know. You can't solve a problem with the same mind that created it. You need someone to take you to the next level.

These people are either millionaires or making a good six figure income. They have a vast amount of knowledge of online and offline marketing and have expert knowledge of direct response marketing. These are high performance people. They have depth of understanding in traffic generation, conversion, tracking and so on. These people could enter any niche market and possibly dominate it within a relatively short amount of time. These people have learnt that less control is more control, that is they focus on the things that they are best at (like the marketing) and outsource all the rest of the stuff. This gives them a great amount of leverage. Hence, they have a team. They know that their business must serve them and that they don't serve the business. These people are visionaries and leaders in their industry. They never stop learning and investing themselves. Very often these people have gone through adversity and really bad times, but have high self-esteem and drive, and have a clear vision that they aspire to.

Advice to these people: You are more than what you have become if you allow youself to go beyond!

The Entrepreneur
This is the highest level where everyone should aspire to. These are multi-millionaires or even billionaires. These are master salespeople and master marketers. They have sold their Internet business for millions, have taken their companies public. They hire people who are much smarter than them. They don't micro-manage, but they macro-think. These people already have an exit strategy before they even start something. They know where they want to go, and aggressively drive towards that, utilising other people's brains and other people's time and resources. They know that the purpose of a business is to either sell it or to make it run on autopilot.

Advice to these people: Give back to society!

Ask yourself, Which one am I and where do I want to be?
Comment on this, let the world know what type of person you are. This will help you gain an understanding about yourself. Always keep in mind:

Be True to Yourself!
This is the ultimate secret to wealth. If you listen and learn to everything that is being taught, and take the appropriate actions necessary to achieve success, you have everything going for you. We all go through the trials and tribulations of what works and what doesn't. THAT IS HALF THE BATTLE!

Bottom line here is TAKE THE ACTION, make something of this. After all, this should be a fun, enjoyable hobby that makes money for you!

Internet Marketing Tips - 3 Keys Before You Market

By Steven Wagenheim
Everybody is in such a rush to get their ads out there on the marketplace, whether it be in the form of pay per click, articles, solo ezines, web 2.0 or whatever. And yet, they fail to do three basic things before they even dive into the water, the consequences of which could be disastrous to say the least. And the sad part is, most marketers don't even think of doing these three things. Well, in this article, I'm going to reveal the three things that if you DON'T do them before you write one ad for your product or service, will lead to certain disaster. I suggest you keep reading to find out what they are.

The first, and maybe even the most important, is keyword research. I mean do you even know if anybody is looking for what you're selling? Think about it. If you came out with an ebook that explained how to do underwater pole vaulting, do you REALLY think anybody would buy it? If you went to Wordtracker, or the keyword tool of your choice, how many daily searches do you think you would find for that phrase? I can almost guarantee you that you won't find many at all. So the first key is to make sure you're selling something that other people actually want.

The second key is checking out the competition. Let's for argument sake say that the product you're selling is in demand. Okay, that's great, but it's only half of the equation. See, competition is critical to success. If you're going up against millions of sites online that are selling the same type of product or offering the same type of service, you're going to have a rough time breaking into the marketplace. Ideally, you want to choose a niche where you're not fighting against the whole world. And sadly, so many people just jump into something without giving this a moment's thought. That is just plain suicide.

And finally there is your ad writing skills in general. Do you REALLY think you can just slap any old ad together and it'll be fine? Writing an ad is an art and it's something that, if you can't already do it well, you better learn in a hurry. If your ad doesn't capture the prospect's attention, you're not going to make the sale, no matter how much demand there is for your product and no matter how little competition there is. If you can't communicate effectively, you're dead in the water.

Demand, competition and writing skills. These are the three keys before you even begin to market your product that you better have down stone cold.

Internet Marketing Tips - Making Choices - Multi Planning

By Steven Wagenheim
You're confronted with having to make a choice regarding your marketing efforts. Do you go with plan A or plan B? You do the research on both and you find, much to your chagrin, that the views on each plan are split right down the middle. Some marketers say plan A is great and plan B stinks and visa versa. What the heck do you do when you're confronted with such conflicting information? Well, in this first of a series of articles, I'm going to touch on one of the options available to you that I call multi planning. It is certainly one viable option.

Okay, so just what is multi planning? Well, simplistically, it's using more than one plan, or in this case, using plan A and plan B. Now, if you're wondering how that's even possible, let me give you a perfect example of what I'm talking about and that way you can see how multi planning is a perfectly viable option provided that you follow the guidelines I will be giving you.

Let's say that plan A is a marketing plan that requires no outlay of cash but a lot of time spent manually doing various tasks and plan B is the opposite...not very time intensive but costly in terms of dollars and cents. You've researched the benefits and drawbacks of each and neither appears to be a slam dunk. So why not do this? Instead of choosing between the two, why not test out both of them in a limited test and see which one outperforms the other?

For example, let's say that plan A is to do nothing but article writing to promote your business. Normally, you'd have to write many articles daily to get any momentum going. But you don't want to put in all that time and find out that it doesn't work for your niche. Conversely, plan B is using pay per click advertising, which can be very costly if you go all out. Why not do this? Just write a few articles and put a small amount of money into your pay per click campaign. If both work, then you can choose to either use both or go with the one that you feel more comfortable with, whether it be spending time of money. If one doesn't work, simply get rid of it.

Multi planning is a great way to determine what the best course of action is without committing yourself to either plan exclusively right off the bat.

To YOUR Success,

Internet Marketing Revealed

Are you suffering from information overload? I think just about anyone who goes on the internet looking for programs and tools to either promote their website or earn money online must be going crazy with the amount of information available. But who or what do you believe?

I’ve spent a lot of hours and quite a bit of money working my way through the internet marketing and online business maze and this gave me the idea and motivation for the netSuccess Partners concept. We just launched our new site this week and I think we have come up with something very special.
Firstly, my main priority was only to present visitors with the best of the best online programs, tools and opportunities so everything that appears on the site has been extensively researched and tested. The next challenge was how to present the information. We decided on a review based format and broke things down into four categories – search engine marketing, traffic generation, internet marketing education and online business opportunities.

Within each category there are six programs or tools reviewed. We have tried to strike a balance between free or low cost options and affordable professional solutions. It needed to be general enough to appeal to a broad audience but specific enough for people to find what they need for their business and budget. We have also tried to make our reviews straightforward and to the point by providing an explanation of what the program offers along with an indication of cost.

The next challenge was how best to market the site. I am a big fan of viral marketing when it is done well. So we decided on a membership based format. Given that most of the products reviewed on the site have an affiliate program attached to them, it was fairly easy to conclude that members could earn money by inserting their own affiliate codes into the site and the more they promoted, the more they earned. But have you any idea what happens if you just offer a free affiliate program like this? People just seem to sign up because they see the word free and then never put any effort into promoting their site.

Now that just wastes everyone’s time and effort. So I wanted to make sure that if we were giving people a ready made website with a bunch of opportunities to earn affiliate commissions, they were motivated to actually promote the site. I figured a small one-off fee would probably do the trick so we set this as our pro membership level. The problem with this of course is that so many people are (rightly) skeptical about investing money in a membership program that we had to find a way to put their mind at rest. This led to us offering a free option where they get an affiliate link but only earn money by introducing other members. What they don’t get is the chance to load the site with their own affiliate links until they upgrade to pro. The reality is if people are serious about promoting the site, they will likely earn enough in a few weeks to be able to cover the pro membership fee.

Heck, if I see a free member actively promoting the site for a couple of weeks, I’ll probably give them a free upgrade to pro membership anyway. The pro membership is not our primary way of making money out of the site and it is mainly there to give people the motivation to promote the affiliate site we give them. It does beg the question though, how do we make money out of the site?

We could have just put up the site, offered the program reviews with our affiliate links and promoted it ourselves without an affiliate program. In fact, this is exactly what we did when we were testing the site and the quality of the programs on offer. But by adding in a membership base we have a bunch of motivated people promoting the site with us. This gives us a chance to multiply site visits and grow the program exponentially. Ah yes, how do we make our money?

Primarily we sell advertising space on the site. A well targeted, high traffic site attracts a decent advertising premium. We also run affiliate power ads on every page which helps us to earn some affiliate commissions ourselves as well as providing some nice visuals that complement the site’s look and feel and unlike Google’s sponsored ads, every click opens in a new window, keeping visitors at our site.

Of course, we will also be earning money from the pro membership upgrades as well as promoting a couple of our own programs on the site. But then, I think we have come up with a unique formula where everyone wins.

Our visitors win because they are presented with an honest review of the best internet marketing tools and online business opportunities. Our pro members win because they are able to earn affiliate commissions from the programs and tools being recommended on the site. Our free members win because they can earn enough money to upgrade to pro membership beforehand rather than having to commit ‘risk money’ upfront. And we win, because we have a high traffic website that earns us money through advertising revenues, memberships and affiliate commissions.

In fact, in all my time surfing the internet and reviewing online marketing and business opportunities, I have never come across a site quite like the one we have created. Am I proud of it? For sure but I’m also looking forward to our next project…

Internet Marketing Article: Passion And Profits Are Not Always Connected

If you have had the fortune or curse to collect the many ebooks and free reports regarding internet marketing online, then you have probably seen on numerous occasions, people stressing the importance of delving into a niche that you are passionate about.

There is of course a lot of truth to that. In the same way that it is a nightmare to get up and go to a job you hate, building a website or blogging about something that you could not care less about can be a formula for disaster. If you cannot find the motivation to get interested then the chances are strong you will stop putting forth any meaningful effort. It is not too long before you just quit altogether.
This happens to many would be marketers who are just looking for a fast check. The get rich scheme has had new life breathed into it thanks to the internet but the bottom line is it still comes down to the person. If they were looking for the fast buck online, you can believe they were searching for the same thing in the offline world.

So you find a niche that you are all fired up about. You build a website/blog, start writing great content on a consistent basis, monetize your site and max out your advertising budget in the hopes of driving like minded visitors or even ones that are slightly curious to your webpages.

And the result? Nothing. Oh maybe you get a clickthrough here and there but nothing like you expected. The weeks stretch into months and you still have nothing to really show for it. The worst part is that even those sporadic clickthroughs you were getting have come to an end.

Yes this scenario gets played out almost daily on the internet. For many people it is quite disheartening to work on something you care about deeply only to fall way short of the desired outcome. Has this caused many passionate entrepreneurs to throw in the towel? No question.

The bottom line is their must be an audience already available to take a look at what you have to offer. No it does not have to be a massive audience. For instance the word movie is searched on close to 3 million times per month. That is a lot of competition but within that general phrase is a lot of room to target a smaller but still profitable niche. Something like silent movie or even drive in movie theater.

It will not hurt if you have a certain passion about drive in theaters but is it vital to the success of your business? No. Many top internet marketers do quite well promoting a niche they have no expertise or real interest in. It is perfect reasonable for you to follow the same path.

So do not get too hung up about how passionate you are about a certain niche. Going back to our nine to five analogy, you may work at a job you hate (don't most of us?) but you still go to work and do the best you can. Whether the work gets done today or tomorrow does not trigger any passionate drive in you but you are a professional who likes to get paid!

Keep these things in mind when trying to make money on the web. Having a passion for what you are doing makes the job easier and the rewards that much sweeter but a pro is still a pro. If you have done your homework and located a target market then by all means promote the product.

What It Truly Takes To Succeed In Business

Finally you have stumbled across the secret that will determine the fate of your current or future business. You may find it hard to believe, it may even anger you, so prepare yourself and read on.

The truth of the matter is that when many small business owners are asked this question, they respond with answers like, "No way" or "I can't stand sales, let someone else do it."

Why is your answer to the above question so important? No doubt you have seen headlines like the following, which glorify how easy and simple it is to succeed in business:

"The Ultimate Lazy Way To Start Your Own Business"

"Cash In On A Multi-Billion Dollar Industry In Your Underwear"

"Easily Generate A Lucrative Income While Sleeping"

We are constantly being bombarded with these "easy ways" to make a million bucks. Does success in business actually work this way? Not in reality! Is it realistic? Not even close!

Overall it is how well you can sell and market your product that will determine the success of your long-term business...period. It doesn't get any simpler than that. You can either sell your own product or resell somebody else's product. Either way, your success or failure will ultimately depend on your ability to market it. If you hate sales, you have a slim chance of succeeding in business for yourself.

The most prevalent attitude of many new business owners is that their product, once launched, will miraculously sell and market itself. After all, the product is awesome and everybody will absolutely, positively want one. People should jump at the opportunity to buy it, right?

Here is another truth about sales. It will take 5-7 sales attempts to close 80% of your sales. Yes, you read that correctly. That's 5-7 attempts before people will say "Yes, I want to buy your product." Running an advertisement one-time or making a sales pitch to a potential customer once in a while does not qualify as effort. Hearing that first "no" and subsequently giving up means the demise of your business and gives someone else an opportunity to turn that NO into a YES.

What most people don't realize or fail to accept is that it may take weeks or even months to get a product to sell according to your expectations. You may have to be constantly adjusting your web site, sales letter, marketing strategy, advertisements and maybe even your product until you get it right. This dedication and determination is what separates the very few successful business owners from the many "wannabes" and fly-by-night hopefuls.

The bottom line is that to be successful in ANY business you will need the ability to market and sell, sell, sell.

6 Tips On Choosing Online File Storage Systems

Storage systems have been in use from ancient times. People have used boxes, trunks, filing cabinets, safety deposit boxes, computer serves, floppy disks, external drives and so on to store important personal and business data.
Safe storage now has a new avatar online storage facilities that will securely store important information and protect the data from natural, physical, or mechanical disasters. Since the information in online storage systems is stored away from the home or business premises the security is multifold.
Online storage systems are both practical and cost effective ways of storing data. The files are stored after SSL encryption and this ensure protection of privacy. Files stored online can only be retrieved using a password and log in. Reputed storage is offered by Acpana, NovaStar Online Backup Sevrice, connected Data Protector and Data Deposit Box.
When selecting an online storage system consider:

1. How much space you need and the frequency with which you will be accessing the stored information.

2. Find out what system the online storage facility uses. Check reliability of the system.

3. Find out whether they charge a fixed amount for storage or charge depending on the amount of space you actually use. Fixed costs are ideal for large storage but if your storage needs are 500MB or less then a pay per storage plan is more feasible.

4. Always comparison shop for an online storage solution. Compare prices as well as features.

5. Read through the terms and conditions carefully and always conduct a reliability check.

6. In case the online storage offers free storage for a limited period take up the offer as this will help you understand the system as well as its pros and cons.

All computer systems big or small should have a data protection plan in action. Ensure regular local back ups and a second back up in the form of an online storage facility. Log on to the World Wide Web and read unbiased reviews as well as expert tips on online storage facilities and its pros and cons. Always be an informed user of any system.

According to IT experts online storage solutions are superior to traditional back ups. The main advantage of an online back up system is that files can be accessed from anywhere. However to be effective the online back up system has to be understood and implemented properly. Whether or not online back up is cost effective for every individual depends on the amount of space needed. An important concern is of course security of the data files and whether the encryption process if efficient.

Before selecting an online storage system ask about: encryption methods and frequency; security measures and guarantees; whether only files that have been changed will be stored in back up or all files; how will data transfer take place and its regularity.
Choose an online storage facility that is most suited to your needs and cost effective.

Why Internet Financial Freedom Is Within Your Reach

By Lee Scutchings

Many people dream of achieving internet financial freedom with an online business of their own. Some actually reach this goal and are successful starting and running an internet business.

However, there are many people that struggle and don't make their business a success. The difference between the people that succeed and the people that struggle is that the successful people understand what it takes to achieve internet financial freedom and how to make it happen for them.

No one will be there to tell you what needs to be done or when to do it. You have to be willing to work hard, learn all you can, go over, under, around or through any obstacles that get in your way and don't ever give up no matter what. You will achieve financial freedom, and never fail, if you do this.

In order to achieve internet financial freedom these three things are not the only things that you will need to do or have. They are however the most important ones.
